YOU WATCHED IT, NOW LIVE IT.

To celebrate Netflix’s new brick and mortar venture, Netflix House, we utilized visceral, over the top digital and real world executions to synthesize a city takeover. What better way to affirm that NH is a real life, physical space full of your favorite Netflix characters than to show a Netflix subscriber being sucked through their screen, or their house being dropped in the parking lot.

Sporting the iconic Netflix red hue, our magical lightening storm and Wizard of Oz inspired tornado serve to embody a natural, all-consuming force that make your arrival at Netflix House inevitable.

These two 30 second commercials are the overarching pieces of media that tie together the rest of the in person displays.

FUN FACT:

We created a miniature building with a fully lit top floor that break offs, and we filmed it with fishing wire in studio to achieve the desired effect of it being swept away in the tornado.

All other shots including our main actor, Goya, were shot practically in studio and on location.

PRE-LAUNCH SNIPPETS

Intended to generate mystique and excitement, we re-cut our 30 second executions to give a taste of what’s to come.

Out of House Executions

Location: Dallas pedestrian network, Dallas, TX
Location: SEPTA Center City Concourse, Philadelphia, PA
Location: DART Escalators Dallas, TX
Location: Philadelphia pedestrian network, Philadelphia, PA

To make our message frequent and undeniable, we found highly trafficked transit tunnels in Dallas and Philadelphia for us to transform. The extreme makeover would immerse residents and travelers alike with dazzling accuracy from Netflix’s most popular shows. Fog machines, custom lighting, and paid actors would encourage people to head over to Netflix house and get lost in their favorite episodes.

Not to mention that this would produce hilarious social media coverage that shows shocked passerbys interacting with the display.
